NBOM Kids
Led by Youth Pastor Zack and volunteers, NBOM Kids class happens each Sunday morning after the worship team is finished, during preaching.
We have a lesson, craft, and snacks weekly.
We count it such an honor to pray with you!
Prayer for our church is a priority and privilege. There is no prayer to small or to large for God to hear.
We are praying as a family of believers coming together to encourage and support one another!
Our prayers may be awkward. Our attempts may be feeble. But since the power of prayer is in the one who hears it and not in the one who says it, our prayers make a difference.

Meet our Pastors!
Barry Pelphrey
Head Pastor
Pastor Barry is married to Angie Pelphrey. Their family includes Kayla. Tori and Aleah, along with 4 grandchildren. Pastor Barry has been in the ministry since 1996, when he began as an evangelist and eventually began pastoring in 2004.
In 2007, he become the pastor and one of the founders of New Beginnings Outreach Ministries. He is the author of the "Pure Gold" a devotion dedicated to restoration of life.

Andy Day
Associate Pastor
Andy Day is our Associate Pastor, and began his journey with Christ when he was saved on February 16, 1999, at Millers Run Evangelical Community Church. While there, he taught Sunday school for six years and was called to preach on November 25, 2007.
On December 13, 2007, he preached with us and joined us full-time in February of 2008. He lives in Lucasville, Ohio, with his wife Krista and their daughter Bailee. He also works as a locomotive engineer with Norfolk Southern.

Zack Stephens
Youth Pastor
Zack gave his life to the Lord in 1998, and rededicated his life to God and got baptized in April 2008. Zack and his family began here at New Beginnings Outreach Ministries in the Fall of 2012, shortly after becoming our Youth Pastor.
He also works for the Portsmouth City School District as the Student Behavior Intervention & Support Coordinator.
Zack and his wife, Brittany, have a heart for our youth and a passion for helping kids know Jesus Christ in a deep and meaningful way. Zack coordinates our NBOM Kids program and heads up our website, App. and other technology areas of our Ministry.
In Jan. 2015, after years of battling infertility and much prayer and fasting, they had their twins, Eli and Aly.

Drew Langford
Dana Andrew Langford (Drew) has been a servant of New Beginnings Outreach Ministries for about 13 years. He is a husband to Jeanine, and father to Jazlyn, Andrew, Sutton and Dion. By God's Grace and loving power he has been rescued from 32 years of addiction. As a result, he has become a state licensed counselor holding a LCDC III licensure, and works in the chemical dependency field as a Supervising Clinician. Drew is compelled to provide others with what has freely been given to him by God in all areas of his life. To God be the Glory
